The Forge is convenient to everywhere in lower Jamestown, is entered from Mundens Lane down a few steps and another short flight of steps, then through the garden courtyard on a tiled path. It is fully equipped with towels, bed linen, steam iron, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, radio and telephone. There is an instant electric shower over the bath. The automatic washer and rotary clothes dryer are shared with the Coach House.

Visitors are met on arrival at the seaside, helped with their luggage, taken to their accommodation and provided with a small welcome pack.
